We have found that in many cases involving ethical dilemmas specific to whistleblowing that many employees in California aren't aware that contact with local, state, and/or federal agencies and documentation are needed for protection from an employer who understands the "At-Will" employment contract.   Employees who do not file a complaint FIRST with an appropriate agency that handles whstleblowing may be subject to retaliation by the employer up to and including termination. 

We strongly suggest that in cases of whistleblowing or reporting violations of ethical behavior you file with appropriate local, state, and federal agencies for full protection BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WITHIN THE COMPANY and then contact BCW for an independent, third-party examination of your complaint*.  The more documentation you have, the better your chances of success.  File today and get protection.
